I don't check the stats on this blog very often, but thought I would on Friday. Whoa, someone had been visiting my blog a lot, on Nov 24. The interesting thing is, the viewer(s) is from Germany! I know of one person in Germany, but I wouldn't expect him to be reading my blog, LOL.

So, it's been a long time! I had started posting photos from Mom and Dad's big event, but then realized I was going to have Christmas items made, and didn't want to show off all the pictures I'd be using for gifts! And it's pretty slow posting photos on Blogger. If you want to see the pictures, I'd suggest you ask Mom to show you her 'Green Book' or ask Nancy or Michael to see their black books. Or, the deck of cards. Or, the puzzles. Or, the big picture. Or, the magnets.....

Some more pictures for you! I really should figure out how to downsize these with this new computer. I did learn how to crop them but in my excitement of having a few minutes of quiet time, I totally forgot to do that. Also, partly cause it was Rob (surprise!) who downloaded the pictures (now that it only takes a nanosecond, LOL). Faster than a speeding monkey, it's "Super Megan"!

What are those stick thingy in the middle of my great picture? Even got the flowers to match! I knew I should have brought my scissors!

I didn't know you could do this, but I just realized you can click on the pictures I just posted, and make them bigger. And in the first picture, the look on Abby's face makes it all worthwhile! LOL.

Okay, I know this is supposed to be a blog for Mom and Dad, but without them, we wouldn't have:

My little brother Michael, who celebrated his 23rd birthday yesterday! Twenty three!

I will be the first to say that I was not to thrilled to find out that a baby would be joining our family. It was fine the way it was; I was too old (13!) to become a big sister! LOL. But life has a way of knowing what you need to go through in order to get to where you need to be, and I think having had the opportunity to be a big sister at such an old age gave me great insight into being a parent. Michael added so much to our family--many laughs, good memories, exciting adventures, that I think my teen years would have been a lot more boring without him around to entertain my friends and I!

And because I don't have many digital photos of the birthday boy, I am adding these, from the 40th Anniversary party.

Does ANYONE have ANY photos where EVERYONE looks good all in the SAME photo?! Please let me know if you do! I don't have Photoshop, but I'd really like to switch some heads between photos, LOL. I'd like to make a gift, but I don't have ONE suitable photo! :(

And because it's "Eye Candy Friday" in blogland, I added a little eye candy, LOL.

I know it's been a week or so....but a very busy week. I still haven't downloaded any photos...it's not bad to do one or two, but there are SO many from the party!
However, I was thinking that maybe the first 'real' entry should be written by Mom and Dad themselves! Like, how they met and all that sweet stuff, so it will live forever in cyberspace! Can you take the photos out of that digital frame and put some up here?

I found out how to sign people up so they can add posts. I've sent some 'invitations' but if you haven't gotten yours yet, be patient for a couple days, then send me an email to let me know.

I am trying to set up a blog so that everyone can share photos and stories about Mom and Dad V., especially from their 40th Anniversary party. I want to set this as a group blog, but I have to go find out how to do that now, LOL.
